The SpaThe Gleneagles Spa is a sanctuary. The ten spacious treatment rooms are ultra-modern with a Celtic flavour. A sophisticated sound and light system is devised for maximum relaxation. Treatments include an innovative Shiseido "Qi" massage technique. The therapist works on acupressure points to ensure that "Qi", or energy, can flow smoothly throughout the body. There are revitalising and relaxing E'SPA treatments. These range from 30-minute massages to mud or algae body wraps. Gleneagles is supremely sporty and a serious massage will certainly iron out any aches incurred. The E'SPA Aromatherapy Total Body Care is a perfect antidote to a stressful lifestyle. The therapist begins by dry brushing and exfoliation, finishing with a scalp and body massage with essential oils to ease physical and mental tension. After treatments the guests can relax in the peaceful heather-toned lounge. Signature Treatments- Massage

THINGS TO DO | |
The hotel has a world-class shopping arcade with Escada and cashmere from N Peal. There are Dunhill accessories, Edinburgh Crystal and exclusive Gleneagles branded items. The Still Room has deluxe blended and malt whiskies. There are also stylish accessories from Harvey Nichols and quality silver and gold jewellery from Mappin & Webb. The shop in the Dormy Clubhouse has equipment, accessories and tailor-made clubs. Perthshire straddles Lowland and Highland. Within easy reach of Perth, the area’s main centre, are the lochs and glens of Highland Perthshire and a host of attractive little towns, while to the south are places of interest such as Loch Leven Castle. Also close by Perth, Blairgowrie makes an excellent choice as a base on the edge of the high hills, with great walking and a golf course. The Queen’s View, at the head of Loch Tummel, evokes the spirit of Perthshire – a sweeping vista through the glen to the highland ridges beyond. Among the many attractive towns, Aberfeldy features traditional shops, as does nearby Pitlochry, a popular touring base. Scotland is full of other notable sites including impressive landmarks such as Blair Castle, Scone Palace and Stirling Castle. Glenturret, Scotland's oldest licensed distillery; Scone Place, where the ancient Kings and Queens of Scotland were crowned; the Wallace Monument and Stirling Castle; Stuart Crystal; superb shopping in Edinburgh and Glasgow; the royal yacht Britannia; Edinburgh Castle; Glasgow's Burrell Collection; St. Andrews, the home of golf; Scott's ship Discovery, at Dundee; Glamis Castle, the Queen Mother's childhood home. | "...We loved staying in this beautiful hotel.
