  • Private Boat Cruise to Salina - this short (35 minute) boat cruise will take visitors to the nearby island of Salina - which is the second largest and most populated island of the Aeolian Archipelago. The island boasts several volcanic cones that are well worth a visit and the locally produced wine - Malvasia - simply must be tried
  • Lipari by Night - take a fishing boat to the nearby island of Lipari where visitors can enjoy its restaurants and nightlife
  • Stromboli Eruptions - explore the island of Stromboli where visitors can see evidence of its live volcano and past eruptions - truly fascinating stuff

About the Hotel

This whitewashed hotel stands proudly on a lush green hill on the fascinating island of Vulcano (approximately 25 km from Sicily). Therasia Resort boasts uninterrupted views of the surrounding islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea and provides guests with comfortable, stylish rooms and excellent service levels.

The hotel has been recently renovated with local materials including molten rock from Mount Etna and olive wood - resulting in a structure that both respects and creates a symbiosis with the local environment.

Therasia Resort is located approximately 160 minutes from Catania International Airport. Visitors will need to take a bus to the port of Milazzo where they will then need to catch a hydrofoil to Vulcano - a bus will then need to be taken from the port of Vulcano to the hotel.
