THINGS TO DO | |
No visit to Mexico’s Yucatan would be complete without fully exploring the fabulous ruins of the Mayan civilisation including Chichen Itza, the great Mayan city which once dominated the Yucatan Peninsula, and the ancient walled city of Tulum. Possibly the region’s most serene archeological ruin is Coba, built deep within the jungle along five lakes. After exploring the ruins, guests can enjoy a leisurely picnic on the shores of the lake and then visit a traditional Mayan pueblo (village).
