The hotel has a number of romantic packages. For example, the Pamper Package includes a luxury Lodge room with views of the ocean and golf course, super king beds, a bottle of champagne on arrival, breakfast in bed and one couples’ massage. This package costs US$295 per person, per night.Alternatively, the Gourmet Package comprises one candlelit five-course dinner for two in the Barrel Room with your own waiter, featuring wines from the Karikari Estate, followed by a night in a luxury Lodge room with a super king bed and breakfast in bed. This costs US$350 per person per night.The Romance package comprises a luxury villa, your own chef to cook your breakfast, and a candlelit dinner on the terrace with matching wines. A massage for two and two green fees with a golf cart and winery tour and barrel tasting follows. This package costs $650 per person per night.
The hotel can cater for weddings of up to 50 in one of its four venues, as well as marquees on the beach.

Carrington/Karikari Estate Vineyard & Winery, New Zealand's newest and most comprehensive resort, is situated on the Karikari Peninsula, a beautiful coastal stretch of New Zealand's sub-tropical north. Dining at Carrington Hotel

The Carrington Dining Room is the resort's main restaurant. Overlooking the golf course, beach and ocean, the Dining Room is decorated with dark wood furnishings and white linen. Fresh produce grown on the farm - Black Angus beef, honey, smoked eel and vegetables - are combined with fresh seafood caught locally. Head to the Members' Bar for beverages and cocktails or to play a game of snooker, croquet or petanque. The terrace overlooks the pool and golf course towards the beach - perfect for a relaxing sunset aperitif.

Auckland International Airport is four hours from the hotel by car, and Kaitaia Airport is 25 minutes from the hotel by car. There is also the option of helicopters to Carrington.
