This 49-room hotel with 12 apartments is comfortable and charming and all the guest rooms are furnished with antiques, a private art collection and the finest linen. The fully refurbished one- and two-bedroom apartments are contemporary and elegantly furnished.

The Capital Restaurant, the two Michelin starred hotel restaurant situated in the heart of Knightsbridge has re-opened after a complete re-design.
The new restaurant is a complete transformation; a light and airy space panelled in the palest sycamore inspired by the 1940s.  The soft furnishings are of an icy blue colour with curtains from William Yeoward framing the tall windows.
Chairs are upholstered with soft velvets and a luxurious faux ostrich leather banquette now runs along the length of the room.  Mirrored panels in the wall add to the sense of space and the picture is completed with original Salvador Dali prints'
The Capital Bar is a cosier affair. Panelled with dark wood, the bar itself is crafted from solid marble with a soft charcoal leather front. Photographs by acclaimed 1930s photographer and director Fred Zinnemann hang on the walls and the sofas and chairs are covered in the softest materials.
The lighting in the bar is kept soft and subtle and is aided by the natural daylight coming from the far side of the room.  The atmosphere is cool, sophisticated and intimate.  The bar menu is one to satisfy even the most discerning connoisseurs and the renowned wine list is both extensive and diverse.
