Eating at the Ritz Carlton’s exclusive Jer-ne restaurant is a truly different experience. The centrepiece of the restaurant is a huge 14ft-long caramel cream coloured, onyx communal table. The outside deck provides picturesque marina views for a unique waterside dining experience and inside the white walls and hardwood floors are complimented by a 25-seat bar designed in wood, glass and leather. Chef Troy N. Thompson from the award-winning restaurant Fusebox serves contemporary new world cuisine in an inspirational style of cooking using bento boxes. For alfresco dining the Wave restaurant opens seasonally beside the hotel’s pool for informal dining.

Things to do in Los Angeles

The popular attractions of Los Angeles are nearby, with the glamourous stretch of Hollywood Boulevard and shopping at Rodeo Drive. The Ritz-Carlton is minutes away from Santa Monica where there are 65 museums and galleries and three major shopping destinations. It is a pleasant outing to visit the many sidewalk cafes and the Santa Monica Pier where the 1920’s carousel can be ridden. Nearby beaches include Marina Peninsula Beach, Venice Beach, Santa Monica Beach and Manhattan Beach. Other popular attractions are the L J. Paul Getty Museum, 20 minutes away, and the Staples Centre, home of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Getting to The Ritz-Carlton Marina Del Rey

Los Angeles International Airport is served directly by shuttle, bus, and taxi. Public transportation is also available for travel both to and from the airport. Outbound buses, shuttles, hotel or rental cars and courtesy vans can be picked up from the designated areas on the Lower/Arrival Level islands in front of each terminal. Taxis are available from outside the terminals on the Lower Level. Passengers will be given a ticket stating the typical fare to major destinations.
