The hotel comprises a magnificent spa and famed thalassotherapy centre, Les Thermes Marin des Cascades, a world class golf course, four clay tennis courts, two squash courts and a racquet club. La Residence des Cascades boasts 39 deluxe suites and 210 well appointed guest rooms all overlooking the golf course and the sea. Five different dining experiences exist for the bon vivant at La Residence, all of which include the special dietary requirements for those undergoing therapy programmes at the spa. The Dunes offers terrace dining, both inside and outdoor with as backdrop the remarkable views of the sea and golfing area. Elegance is paramount at L’Albatros, with a gracious environment overlooking the central lake and golf course. Spike’s Bar is the place to relax after the 18th green, or a brisk dip in the pool. A cosy clubhouse feeling dominates The Gallery, just right for a quiet cup of tea, and testing your skills at a board game. A British pub on the top floor, the Eagle’s Nest, is named after the sea eagles often viewed off the south coast. After sunset is when Layali comes into its own, with the desert and ocean lit up by the beautiful starlit night seen from its terraces.

Attractions and activities are plentiful around La Residence des Cascades, thanks to its prime location in Soma Bay, near the Red Sea - one of Egypt's most striking areas.
Close by, at the furthest extremity of the peninsula you'll find a sandy beach that includes a coral garden teeming with aquatic flora and fauna. This is an ideal spot to enjoy snorkelling and diving. Other, faster paced water sports can also be enjoyed on the beach including wind and kite surfing and sailing.
Diving is the main attraction in Soma Bay, and the Soma Bay Dive Centre is the largest in the Red Sea, with a prime location on the House Reef. It boasts many unique feature such as a 420-meter jetty extending from the centre to the house reef, and is the ideal place for divers of all skills and levels to experience the wonders of diving in sheltered waters.
