About the Hotel

The historic Sagamore, situated in the idyllic Adirondack Mountains, first opened its doors in 1883 when it attracted an elite and distinctive clientele.

Accomodation at The Sagamore is split between The Lodges, the overly luxurious Wapanak Castle and the Historic Hotel.

The Lodges offer guest rooms, suites and condominiums. American Country and Adirondack relaxed camp style furnishings are available in both the standard rooms and one-bedroom suites.

Suites in The Lodges include:

The Sagamore's location deep in New York State means there is an incredible wealth of activities and things to do inside and outside of the resort.

The surrounding areas of Lake George, Bolton Landing and the Adirondack park region are full of interesting sights and exciting activities.

Situated in the unspoiled Adirondack Mountains, The Sagamore Resort is easy to reach by Amtrak from Penn Station in New York to the Albany/Rennselaer Train Station. Or fly to Albany International Airport served by US Airways, Southwest, United, Delta, Northwest and other major carriers. Our own airport shuttle service will ferry you directly to the resort.
